The tree is challenging to grow, so it is carefully guided during its early development and then released into a wild plantation where nature takes over.

In this rugged, untouched environment, each tree grows freely, fighting to develop and survive. A single tree can live up to 100 years and reach 12 meters in height. This long, natural process allows it to form the rare, powerful, and richly scented sandalwood essence used in Sauvage.
